Antique 9K Rose Gold Roman Soldier Intaglio Men's Ring Carved Oval Pinky Ring

Offering for your consideration is an interesting antique men's size 9 rose gold roman soldier intaglio ring. The oval stone is bezel set, hand carved and shows multiple generations worth of wear. It has clearly lived a long life. The band has been partially replaced at some point in its life with a slightly yellow gold restoration. A hairline fracture of the stone has been noted.
The ring is very light weight, the type of weight one would expect during a period when gold might be scarce. Has a star stamped in the band.  This ring comes with a lot of character and awaits your own story to add to its long history. The karat of the ring was identified using a nikor xl2 and acid testing.

Notable: Show wear and flea bites to the stone, hairline fracture across the stone, scratching to the setting as would be expected of a antique ring. Partial band restoration. Carving is in fine condition.
