Vintage 1944-45 WWII Reims France Sterling Silver Serial ID Sweetheart Bracelet

Description

This wonderful piece of history is in good condition, with light expected wear commensurate with age and use.
The ID tag is engraved with a soldier's name and serial number and reads:
Austin E. Butts, 35763034, Reims France 44-45
The back of the ID tag is stamped STERLING and appears to be hand engraved, reading:
Susie - Nov 30 1944
The bracelet measures approximately 7-1/4" from end to end.
The curved tag measures approximately 2" x 1/2".
The bracelet features a double hook clasp, and one of the hooks is marked STERLING. Note that this is a partial stamp and only a portion of the word sterling is visible (see picture 4).
